She weaves the mystical, healing vibrations of Gong that aids in restoring ones genuine state of balance, peace & well-being.
is a practice that utilizes props such as bolsters, pillows, blankets and more, to support your body in different forms, held for extended amounts of time, offering opportunities for passive stretching, deep levels of relaxation and mindfulness of breath, body and space within you and of the environments around you. You’ll learn practical techniques that you can incorporate into your daily life. Long, lovely savasanas, at the end of this practice, are accompanied by sound healings with Gong and/or other sound healing instruments.
Mystical Gong Vibrations
is a one hour relaxation experience comprised of breath work, body movements, guided relaxation and the mystical sounds of Gong. Other sound healing instruments and energy tools may accompany Gong for an extended savasana, known as a gong bath. One of human’s oldest therapeutic instruments, Gong is an ancient tool for healing & transformation. The vibrations release tension & impasses in the body & stimulates the nervous & circulatory systems as well. It helps to quiet your mind so that you can experience a more neutral, meditative mind.

JULIA COLLINS ~ Yoga Instructor - Vinyasa - Hatha - Yin
Hour of Power - with Julia
Movement will follow breath in this Align & Flow style Vinyasa. Our awareness will come to stacking the bones in exactly the right place to keep the joints and muscles safe throughout our practice. This all levels warm class will bring your focus to your core, encourage length along the spinal column, and work on full body toning. Get ready for fun and energizing exercise for body and mind. Yin Yoga and Deep Relaxation - with Julia
In this held space we will slow our minds and bring stillness to our bodies. Yin Yoga is the passive practice to balance our increasingly yang, or active, lifestyle. Working specifically with connective tissue, we will hold postures for longer (6-12 minutes) with the use of our breathe to restore our energy flow and flexibility. Connective tissue, or fascia, builds in layers over time and so it takes longer to affect. As stated by David Williams, “the real yoga is what you can’t see.” Essentially a meditation in shapes, Yin Yoga will push your edges in the best way. Various props will be used for extra support. These classes in conjunction are the perfect pairing - active followed by passive - if you’re looking to have back-to-back sessions. Contact Julia Collins.
