Workshops
Dear Friends, I am hoping you are all having a wonderful summer. I am enjoying the sunny weather. I had a couple of epiphanies this summer. As you can see in my newsletter I am now offering Angelic Guidance Readings. This was a big step for me. It is something I have been doing for a long time, but I never put it out there. I would tell myself I was waiting for the right time, or I would tell myself that I wasn't good enough yet that people wouldn't be satisfied with their readings. I would see other people in the same line of work offering angel readings and I would sigh and say, Oh I would love to do that. One day while in meditation I heard "Jessica, the only reason you aren't doing angel readings is because your ego is telling you not too. You are putting limitations up around yourself. You are keeping us an arms length away by your fear of failing. Just put it out there and trust us." It was a big AHA! moment for me. I realized the sky is the limit and I had placed barriers where I didn't need too. Once I freed myself and offered the readings I felt a sense of relief. Now that I am actually doing them, I can't believe I waited so long to honor that part of myself. After I did this more doors opened. Another thing I had avoided is pursuing a Master's degree offered at Salve Regina University in Holistic Counseling. I always regretted not going for my Master's in Counseling when I graduated in 1997 from Bridgewater State College. I would detour around this in any which way I could to try and quiet the gentle persistance in my spirit. The detours weren't set-backs by any means. I just got more education. I am now finishing up studies in Metaphysics at the American Institute of Holistic Theology because of one of these detours. The reason I detoured is I thought the program would be unaffordable, or that I wouldn't be accepted, or I didn't have the time. Again, I realized I have a fear of failing, when what I am doing is just failing myself, by not being authentic to my spirit. Again the pushing and prompting of my spirit gave me the kick in the butt I needed to pursue this so that I connected with the right people and registered for the fall. What followed was a sense of deep relief and excitement. A pitter pattering in my heart of knowing I was following a deep purpose of something I need to do for myself. My message to you is to honor yourself and be authentic to the truth of your soul. Each of you have your own special unique purpose for being here at this time. When you ignore those gentle nudges from spirit telling you to take a class, write that book, run that marathon, take yoga teacher training, or go back to school to study a certain field, then you are dishonoring a part of yourself. As I have learned from experience "What you resist persits". When you move into your purpose spirit keeps opening up doors. Things seem to fall into place much easier. Trust comes easier...

Reiki
This class covers the art, science, and history of the Traditional Usui Reiki System. Reiki means Universal Life Energy in Japanese. It is non-dogmatic and anyone can learn and do it. It is passed on to the student by an attunement from a Master-Teacher. Receive the first attunement for Reiki and learn the hand positions for giving the healing energy of Reiki to yourself and others.

Reiki Level II Certification This class is the next level to the Traditional Usui System. You will receive the Second Degree Attunement and 3 of the sacred symbols of Reiki. Included in this class are Distant Healing Reiki, Color Breathing, Beaming, and Manifesting. This is a powerful and fun class! Pre-requisite is Reiki Level I.

Reiki Level III (Reiki-Master) Certification This is the Master level of the Traditional Usui System. This is an intense and wonderful class as you are making a commitment to be Reiki in all aspects of your life. Receive the Master Attunement, the Master Symbol, and a symbol used in passing attunements. You will learn the Sacred Secret of Reiki and how to give Level I and II attunements for healing (Not Certifying). Pre-Requisite is Level I & II Reiki. Fruits & Gifts of The Holy Spirit Workshop Did you know that the Holy Spirit is something that everyone has access to? We all have the power of the Holy Spirit inside of us, therefore we also have access to all of its gifts and fruits. You don't have to be any particular religion to work with the Holy Spirit, you only have to have an open heart. The Holy Spirit is mostly recognized in Catholic and other Christian traditions that embrace the belief of the Holy Trinity. In this class all are welcome. You will learn of the Fruits and Gifts which come when working with the Holy Spirit some of which are the Gifts of Wisdom, Counsel, Healing or Fruits of Compassion, Kindness, and Charity. This is a non-judgmental open hearted class. I have been working with the Holy Spirit since I was a little girl and embrace the fruits and gifts I receive from working with it. I went on to study A Course in Miracles which is a non-denominational study which also embraces the Holy Spirit and my relationship deepened. Ego vs. Spirit Workshop Did you know you have two voices in your head? One is the voice of the Ego and the other is the Voice of Awareness or Spirit. The Ego often becomes louder and is much easier to hear. It also doesn't always have our best interest at heart. The Voice of Spirit is connected to our hearts, and our higher selves. It knows what our soul purpose is and tries very hard to keep us on course. The more you tune into one voice the louder and easier it is to hear. I like to look at it as the little cartoon angel on one shoulder and the cartoon devil on the other. In this class we will learn about these two voices and how to stay connected or become connected with the voice of awareness and spirit to live a more fulfilling life. Date: Tues. Connect with Your Angels This workshop was in the making for months, and with the Angel's loving guidance it became ready. I am so happy the angel's kept nudging me to offer this workshop as it was a great success, which is why I am offering it again. This workshop will cover information on Guardian Angels, Archangels, Techniques for Communicating with your Angels, Receiving Messages from your Angels and how to know you are receiving authentic messages. You will also connect with your angels in class with a guided meditation. This workshop will be a loving and lighthearted experience inspired by the angels.

Diane Kozak is my stepmom and also has been a strong positive role model in my life. She always taught me to follow my dreams so I would never look back on my life with regret. She will be at Border's in the Swansea Mall on Sunday July 27 at 1:00 PM doing a book signing for her new release from Sun Piper Media "Full Circle 911". It is a novel written for young adults but also appeals to all ages. I hope some of you can be there. Below is a synopsis on her book. I would also like to point out that my brother Nick Kozak illustrated the cover. I am proud of him too.
Introduction
Full Circle 911 was written to educate young people on the current war on terror. As time passes, this war will be theirs to fight. My hope is to give them a view of this war from a different perspective. My overall goal was to tell a story in an interesting and instructive way. Full Circle 911 reflects this fascination with the political underpinnings of world events and the importance of understanding the various cultures and beliefs that exist. The facts are based on solid research. The story and characters are fictional.
Book Summary
Curious and concerned about a series of recent terrorist attacks in Europe, Abby Haddad, a Muslim teenager living in a small Massachusetts town, uses her Islamic background to uncover some frightening connections between these recent events. More startling than the links between these violent strikes, however, is the realization that her brother heads up a United States terrorist cell, which plans to execute several vicious attacks on American soil. Torn between loyalty to family and love of the country she calls home, Abby decides to try to halt the impending disaster. With three school friends, her other brother and his girlfriend, Abby embarks on a frantic search for credible evidence to present to the authorities before another attack occurs.
